The New Democratic Establishment’s Loser Values

Two things happened yesterday that are only sort of unrelated. Senator Martin Heinrich of New Mexico endorsed modern Nazi sympathizer Graham Platner for the Senate race in Maine. Look folks, on this, I’m not “vote blue no matter who.” This guy has Nazi tattoos, he is pals with Nazis, was a Blackwater mercenary, and posts horribly racist shit on the internet. All of his behavior screams Nazi. If we nominate this piece of human sludge, we should lose the race. Heinrich isn’t alone though. Ruben Gallego recently endorsed him too. Ro Khanna has also endorsed Mr. Nazi Tattoo. Not to be left behind, Bernard Sanders had to be involved as an endorser. In case you’re wondering, all of them but Heinrich (to my knowledge) have endorsed Bob “Crooksy” Brooks, a man who stiffed his mother-in-law for $55k, said President Obama “sucks,” stated his hate for Colin Kaepernick very loudly, and spouts off fanatical stuff about guns and religion. Kind of fits, right? We went through this before with John Fetterman, and people ignored the obvious. Fetterman was a degenerate nut-job, and now we’re going to arm an army of him in Congress, if these bros have their ways.

Now, as I said, there was a second thing that happened. Last night Muhammad “Sef” Casim lost a special election for the Prince William County Supervisor race in the Woodbridge, VA district. Dems had held it for 38 years. “Sef” was a problematic candidate, not unlike Platner. He says really racist shit. Casim was also an outright antisemite. Republican Jeannie LeCroix beat him by 6% and almost 20% wrote in another candidate. After winning a primary running as a far left nut, Casim blew a lay up race, failing to even reach 40%. Much like Mamdani, the general electorate was less impressed with his left-wing populism and looked for literally any other option but to vote for this bigot. Northern Virginia, much like New York City, is very Democratic. Once you got beyond the primary, most Democrats don’t want this kind of vile shit.

The “new” Democratic Establishment, built of consultants and operatives from the Bernie and Fetterman world, are building a Democratic establishment that will cement MAGA control of the White House for years to come. It’s a road to nowhere. Here in PA-7 they are promising jobs to young candidates and electeds who endorse them, and painting a rosy picture of a future that looks very much like a Bernie rally. It’s fools gold. Bernie Sanders lost cleanly twice when he ran for President, because he couldn’t build a coalition of people who were bought in enough to vote for him against the “boring old” establishment figures that he and Mr. Nazi Tattoo want to create. Regular, real people who live in this country don’t want this shit. Most people want to be normal. Our party does not want a revolution:

Analysis of the data suggests the Democratic coalition can be broken into three distinct blocs. Moderates—voters who identify as moderate Democrats, independents, or anti-Trump Republicans—account for 47 percent. They are demographically diverse, older on average, and the most electorally flexible—only 45 percent say they have never voted for a non-Democratic presidential candidate.

A second bloc, Progressive Liberals, make up 37 percent. They are reliably left-leaning, whiter than the other blocs, and disproportionately concentrated in suburbs and on the West Coast.

Last comes the Woke Fringe—voters who identify as democratic socialists or Communist. These add up to just 11 percent of the coalition. The Woke Fringe is the youngest of the three groups, the most conspiratorial, the most likely to report poor mental health, and—not incidentally—the most likely to spend excessive sums of time on the internet. Notably, previous quantitative and qualitative Manhattan Institute research on the GOP coalition shows that the youngest and most hyper-online Republicans also skew hardest toward ideological wackiness.

So why the hell are we listening to a bunch of lefty white guys who want to expel Jews and welcome Chairman Mao to the party? It’s somewhat the fault of donors. It’s somewhat the fault of podcasters. It’s largely the fault of “the bubble children” in DC that manage the interest groups in between their stays at the party committees. What they are building is a party that isn’t likable. They are building a party that is weird, fake, and harmful in the eyes of most Americans. They’re building a freak show. We need to reject them. A fake “working class hero” movement lead by an 80 something year old that used his campaigns to make money isn’t useful.

Establishment Politics and the Democratic Party’s Road to Nowhere

Ruben Gallego is a United States Senator in Arizona. He won his seat in 2024, a key hold for Democrats, largely running on stronger border security. As best I can tell, his Congressional history is largely pro-Israel, opposing BDS, supporting the “Iron Dome,” supported a stronger definition of antisemitism, and consistently supporting a two-state solution (he did support the Iran Deal under President Obama, which Israel opposed). Gallego even says the Democratic Party should focus on building prosperity, over focusing on equity. The guy is a full blown moderate, or at least he was. He seems to be blowing in the winds of change, embracing a radically different vision now.

Ruben Gallego endorsed Graham Platner for the Maine Senate seat today, a shameful act that drew political fire from all directions. Last Fall, he went on Pod Save America to slam the party’s narrative with a bunch of lefties, a bizarre move from a political moderate. Gallego has displayed further bro behavior by complaining about Democrats not allowing “women to be hot.” The guy’s behavior is really all over. When he was running for Senate, he wanted his divorce records sealed after saying his PTSD from the war had lead him to drink and smoke too much and have outbursts. He blasted Kyrsten Sinema for “doing nothing” while considering a run against her, then ran as a moderate Democrat anyway. Gallego is really all over the map.

Even though Gallego is an enigma, his endorsement of Platner doesn’t make much sense. Platner is Mr. Nazi Tattoo. He posted horrible things on the internet for years. His campaign pays his wife a salary, which Gallego doesn’t. Platner might have dated several women at once. He was a Blackwater mercenary. Now we find out he’s going on Nazi conspiracy theorist podcasts and retweeting Neo-Nazis. Even for Gallego’s unsteady brand, Platner is insane. He called him the “kind of fighter Maine has never seen,” which is true, the Nazis never invaded Maine. This seems totally unnecessary.

Well, sometimes endorsements happen for stupid reasons. Really stupid reasons. Like Ruben Gallego has the same television consultant as Graham Platner, so he endorsed him. Rebecca Katz, who was also a part of that Pod Save America debacle, is the television consultant for both of them. She was John Fetterman’s advisor as well, because of course she was. Her co-workers worked for the likes of Bernie Sanders and Cori Bush. Oh, and they’re Bob “Crooksy” Brooks’ consultants too. And in case you need to be shocked some more- Ruben Gallego also endorsed Brooks. Because I’m sure he knew a lot about Crooksy going into this.

This whole “blue collar populist” Democratic movement is a sham. If you pay certain people enough money, they’ll shovel you into their template and give you another endorsement from an erratic Senator in another state. They’d probably have “Shrek” Fetterman out there endorsing some of these freaks, but he’s not very popular right now because he refuses to cosplay a Nazi, and honestly that might be the most respectable thing he’s done in his strange, strange existence, which they also created. Their entire argument is that if we just have some white guys all go out and sell socialism, with an occasional non-white person who happens to be young and halfway interesting, we can convince America to at least be more like Europe, if not like Mao’s China. Because, you know, Mr. Nazi Tattoo is a good future for America.

Left-Wing Brain Rot

I just want you to imagine saying this out loud for a moment:

Now, imagine you are an American woman, living in the United States, saying this. Saying this about a regime that is not known for great treatment of women. Honestly, this is lunatic fringe shit to say no matter who or where you are, but just imagine this person doing it. In fact, doing it in a public setting. This person is insane. She also used to work for Elizabeth Warren, apparently.

Then, well, there’s this gem from the interwebs:

Graham Platner is a horrifying nightmare in human form. Yes, he had a Nazi tattoo for years and years, and finally covered it up when it got exposed to the public during this campaign. He also posted terrible things on the internet for years, before he ran for office. His campaign pays his wife. Yes, really. He might have dated several women at a time in like 2024. Let’s also not forget that he was a Blackwater mercenary, because that’s always good. Now let’s add all of this to the equation:

Platner faced blowback this week for boosting a social media comment about a looming war with Iran by Stew Peters, a neo-Nazi influencer who has frequently espoused antisemitic tropes and engaged in Holocaust denial. Platner’s team said the post was made in error and “immediately” removed it after learning it elevated a “despicable account.”

In late January, however, Platner sat for a lengthy online interview with Nate Cornacchia, a retired Green Beret who has also promoted antisemitic conspiracy theories. Near the end of their hour-long conversation, Platner, a fellow military veteran, called himself “a longtime fan” of Cornacchia’s YouTube channel, “Valhalla VFT,” and said it was “an absolute pleasure being” on the show.

Look, I know what they’re going to say- “he’s for ‘Medicare for All’ and against Israel, so he’s good.” These people are mentally ill. This guy is a Nazi. Just because he’s telling you now as a candidate that he’s not doesn’t mean that he’s not. In fact, who they were before the campaign is who they are. What you get in the campaign is an act.

The left is in full brain rot mode. These folks will side with dictators like Maduro, murderers like Khamenei, terrorist groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, failed regimes like Cuba, and even swoon for the fallen Soviet Union and defend today’s Russia. We are way past the “I believe there should be a ceasefire in Gaza so that Palestinian children stop getting killed,” that’s a perfectly sane thing to say, this is outright siding with Neo-Nazis, white nationalists, and third world terrorist organizations and regimes against the United States, basically because they hate Jews and capitalism. It’s insane and bizarre, and frankly hopeless. You are never going to build a majority in modern America for this crackpot shit, most people aren’t this deranged and miserable in this country, even if their situation does suck. People that actually hear this kind of tinfoil hat shit are probably less likely to vote for these dingbats than they were before.

This is Bernie’s legacy. He’s always there to make things worse. Don’t let him bring this insanity to your neighborhood.

LOL, Graham Platner. Please Go Away.

It wasn’t bad enough that he had a Nazi tattoo. Or that he posted horrific stuff on the internet. Or that his campaign pays his wife. No. To quote Tom Petty, he won’t back down. He’s still running.

Now we find out that he probably had a few girlfriends at a time until fairly recently. Now look, I have friends who have been on both sides of these pages, and this can get touchy- I really don’t care if he ghosted someone, men and women do that all the time today- but that’s not all it looks like here. The NRSC is practically just trolling the guy, because they can. They know that will drive some primary voters towards him, and they’d love to run against him, because the general electorate will hate this guy. It’s a joke that this guy is still running.

The damage is done at this point. There’s a portion of Democrats who won’t vote for this guy, especially once they’re reminded about him, and he can’t overcome that. Unfortunately, thanks to Comrade Bernie, there are movement leftists dug in to only vote for this guy now, so we’ll probably lose either way. His team will get paid though. I guess somebody wins here. Just not America.

Bernie Grifters Have to Grift

Oh Graham Platner… you’re quite a dipshit. I’m on the record hoping for Janet Mills to beat him. Then of course he got caught with the Nazi tattoo and a bunch of bad social media posts, and of course he won’t drop out now. Honestly, Platner is just like the rest of these leftist crooks Bernie pushes on us.

Turns out Graham Platner is employing his wife. He’s paying her biweekly as a “volunteer coordinator.” They’re paying her instead of him because they were worried it would affect his disability payments from the VA. This sounds a lot like Bernie. The Institute in his name founded by his wife and son, that paid his son, shutdown in 2019. Jane Sanders however was paid as a senior advisor to his campaigns. Then there’s the mystery firm his 2016 campaign gave millions to, lord knows who was involved with that.

This is just who these guys are. They run these populist campaigns and get people to give them $10 at a time until it adds up for them. If they win, great. If they lose, it’s another lake house, right?

Bernie’s Goofy Lefties that don’t Believe in Political Gravity

Just based on his schedule and endorsements, it’s pretty obvious that ancient fossil/dinosaur/cranky old man Bernie Sanders either wants to run for President in 2028 or try to be the king maker for who Democrats nominate for President. Bernie is 84 years old and will be 87 in 2028. He is, in short, older than Joe Biden, Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, Al Gore, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney, and probably a bunch of other national political figures who are very old, or in most cases, long retired. Also, all of them were at least able to win a nomination to run for President, something Sanders failed at twice, and in fact did far worse in his second attempt at. Bernie is a delusional nut, and not just for his archaic left views on policy. People don’t vote for the guy. He’s not as likable as he thinks he is, thanks to the internet. His record of king making? Tulsi Gabbard, John Fetterman, some failed pro-life Mayoral candidate in Omaha, and of course, that lady Shontel Brown blew out in Cleveland (“HELLO SOMEBODY,” Nina Turner!). This guy is a delusional crackpot that Democrats should be trying to stuff back in the school locker that the DNC braintrusts let him out of in 2016. He’s yesterday’s loser.

Here’s the thing though, Bernie doesn’t just have delusions for himself, he creates delusions for others. Take Graham Platner in the Maine Senate race. The latest “white savior” from the far left to run for office is certain he can win a U.S. Senate seat away from Susan Collins. Never mind that he never has won anything, he’s certain he’s the LeBron James of Democratic politics. He’s so certain that he’ll tell you that his past Reddit posts questioning why Black people don’t tip, downplaying sexual assault, and using homophobic slurs don’t matter. You know, he was just trying to get a rise out of people. Now he’s re-shuffling his campaign and making people sign NDA’s so you don’t hear any more about it. He figures people will just forget about it and elect their savior, who is of course, him. For a brief moment yesterday morning he got a poll that showed that primary voters were willing to excuse the early stuff. That’s sick, vile, and disgusting, and I hope is just a matter of Maine voters not knowing enough about it yet. I’m sure we will soon find out that the general electorate is not as forgiving. I guess it was the endorsement from a white supremacist might do it. Or maybe, and just hear me out here for a second, it was having a Nazi tattoo that he got on a drunken night in Croatia when he was 37 will kill his candidacy.

The whole entire premise of his campaign is dumb to begin with though. Sara Gideon didn’t lose to Collins because she was some super moderate. The attack at the end that Collins team ran with was that Gideon wanted to defund police. Of course though, Bernie Sanders, surprisingly Senator Martin Heinrich, and basically all the Democratic Socialist types are sticking up for Graham and saying he’s a great candidate. They think this stuff will go away, or voters just won’t care. Assuming voters in Maine don’t mind that he’s further left than Gideon, who they rejected in 2020, they probably will mind that Platner is a piece of shit human being. Collins and her backers will remind them of it, over and over again. His defense is basically that he was a drunken man child. I’m sure people will be cool with a Neo-Nazi Senator.

This is the kind of judgment Bernie Sanders shows over and over again though. He endorses delusional deadbeats in primaries who run on his populist BS. Here in the 7th District of Pennsylvania, that’s his guy, Bob “Crooksy” Brooks. Crooksy took $55,000 from his mother-in-law and didn’t pay it back He went to court, and lost, then lost his appeal too. His excuse is that it was all just part of a messy divorce. That’s one helluva long divorce- it was basically the entire marriage! Crooksy took the money in 2004, paid none back by 2008 and therefore signed a promissory note to pay the money back, then proceeded to pay back not one dime for ten more years before the lady filed suit against him. A full two more years went by before the case went to court, he still didn’t pay any money back, then he appealed the case on the grounds that the promissory note was no longer valid, so he didn’t need to pay. Seriously. This dude stiffed his mother-in-law and thinks voters in the most swing district are going to trust him as some sort of ridiculous “every man” figure.

Look, if we set aside for a minute that he became the President of the Fire Fighters union by pushing out his predecessor allegedly in dubious ways, or that the guy is a racist, a gun nut and militant religious wacko, and maybe the only statewide union President too lazy to go to Labor Day events, I think most normal voters understand that stiffing your mother-in-law for over 15 years brings up some serious issues in your trustworthiness. Explaining his laissez-faire views on political violence can be hard to get across to voters. Taking money, not paying it back, and then lying about it is much easier. In his delusional mind though, he thinks he’s Congressional material. Ryan Mackenzie will make him the poster-child for elder abuse by the end of this race, fair or not. He’s easily the worst candidate in this field. But he’s lecturing Democrats about supporting working people. Give me a break.

Maybe I’m over thinking it though. Maybe the sign came on the first day of the campaign- the endorsement from Bernie Sanders. The same Bernie Sanders who stood on stage with Tulsi Gabbard and told us she’s great. The same Bernie Sanders who rallied voters for John Fetterman, who now wants to sell out our health care. The same Bernie Sanders defending the guy with the Nazi tattoo in Maine. The same Bernie Sanders who is fine with stiffing your mother-in-law in the Lehigh Valley.

Yeah, there’s a pattern here.
